FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can these socks handle a 12-hour shift on hospital floors?
A: That's what they're built for. Cloud Cushioning under the heel, ball of the foot and toe box, an Arch Band and a Reinforced Heel Cup, for 12 hours on tile and linoleum with barely a minute to sit down. You feel the cushion on your first shift.
Won't they be too hot under scrubs and in closed clogs?
A: They're midweight and padded only where the foot lands, not thick all over. Bamboo fibre pulls moisture away from the skin and the Mesh Ventilation panel lets air through, so feet stay cooler and drier from the first hour to the last.
Which size should I pick?
A: Go by your shoe size. In UK sizes, M fits men's 5–8 and women's 5–7.5, L fits men's 8.5–11 and women's 8–11, and XL fits men's 11.5–14. Picked the wrong one? Exchange it for another size within 99 days.
Are these compression socks?
A: No. Nothing squeezes the calf or the leg. They cushion the sole, support the arch and keep feet drier, and they pull on in seconds. If compression socks have been recommended to you, keep wearing them: Shift Socks are a comfort sock, not a medical product.
Can I wash them after every shift?
A: Yes. Machine wash cold and hang dry. They won't shrink or felt, and the reinforced heel and toe are made for back-to-back shifts.
Black or white: which one for work?
A: It's the same sock in both colours. Pick the one that goes with your uniform and your unit's dress code. If you're not sure what your workplace allows, check before you order.
How many pairs do I need for a week of shifts?
A: One clean pair per shift, plus a spare in your locker. Six pairs covers a full week of 12-hour shifts, long days included. That's the Buy 3 Get 3 Free bundle: 6 pairs, a clean pair for every shift.
What if they don't work for me?
A: Wear them on real shifts. If you're not satisfied within 99 days, return them for a refund, no questions asked. Every pair is also covered by a lifetime warranty.
How long does shipping take?
A: Delivery is free across the UK. Orders are prepared within 1 to 2 working days and delivered in 6 to 10 working days, with tracking.
Whatever Unit You Work On
Made for the nurses, HCAs and care assistants on their feet for 12-hour shifts. Women and men.
1 — A&E AND ICU
"After a 12-hour ER shift, my feet used to be wrecked."
Twelve hours on hard floors with barely a minute to sit. Cushioning under the spots that hit the floor hardest, on every step.
2 — WARDS
"By hour 8 of call bells and admissions, my arches were done."
Drug rounds, obs, notes written standing up. The Arch Band supports the middle of the foot through the back half of the shift.
3 — NIGHT SHIFT
"7.30pm to 8am, then the drive home in the dark."
Three nights in a row, feet sealed in clogs. Bamboo fibre keeps them drier, so kicking off your clogs in the car feels good.
4 — HCAs & CARE HOMES
"Transfers and bed baths all shift. My socks were down by lunch."
Lifting, bending and back-to-back shifts. The Double Cuff stays up and the reinforced heel and toe are built to last.
