  • Éclora StormHook seen from below: fibreglass double ribs, one-button open and close, hook handle

Will it survive a proper gust?

24 double ribs in fibreglass, not 6 thin metal ribs. Fibreglass bends and springs back instead of staying bent.

  • A man's hand opening the carabiner clip on the handle of a folded beige umbrella, on a wet terraced street

Left on the train? Not this brolly.

StormHook's handle has a built-in clip. Hook it onto a bag loop or strap and it stays with your things.

  • Hands full? One press: a man holding the open Éclora StormHook in one hand, a coffee and a phone in the other

    One press and it's up.

Press again to fold the canopy. It opens and closes with one hand.

Sorted in 3 steps

  1. A man standing under an open umbrella on a rainy terraced street, a bag of shopping in his other hand

Rain starts. Press the button once. It opens on its own, even with a bag of shopping in your other hand.

  2. A man at his front door folding a beige umbrella closed

At the door, press again and it folds. Push the shaft back in by hand until it clicks, then wrap the strap.

  3. A man walking down a wet street with a folded beige umbrella clipped to his backpack strap

Clip the hook to your bag, your pushchair or a chair. It comes home with you, not with the 18:12.

What buyers say about this umbrella

  • Rated 5/5

Used this today for a track meet where a small storm rolled in and it was great the wind tried to flip it and it was like nope love it!

  • Rated 5/5

I thought the handle might be annoying, but it's actually a lifesaver! You can easily hook it onto a small bag when there's no room inside, so you don't have to carry it in your hand or worry about losing it.

  • Rated 5/5

The best part of this one is it also closes with a one-handed push of a button! Say what? How easy is that? ... if your hands are full and you're trying to get in the door, this feature is the best.
